Great American & Tuition Rewards

A Former Educators Testimonial!

Tuition Rewards

The SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards Plan is one of the most revolutionary programs to come along in my 30 plus years of being involved with schools.  Band Directors, Teachers, Coaches, Principals and Parents all agree, the program is something that benefits everyone.

With so many young students who have the desire to attend a college or university following high school, but limited options due to the lack of funds, this is a very exciting opportunity for them.

Anytime a student and their parents can collaborate on an idea to help both of them, it is seen as a win, win situation.  With the Tuition Rewards program, the school or group wins as well.

As a former educator myself, I see the benefits of having a student and their parent work together to raise money for the group while throughout the process the focus of the student and their parent is on reducing the cost of their education beyond high school.  The money earned by the school or group is a very nice byproduct of the exercise.

Schools have many options when it comes to raising funds for themselves and the Tuition Rewards program allows them to not only help themselves but to help their students beyond high school.

Another terrific byproduct of Tuition Rewards is it has the ability to start the “college conversation” early with many students and their parents.  In some cases I have had educators tell me that without Tuition Rewards, they believe that conversation would have happened much too late or not at all in some cases.  The program has the ability to change lives of young people and their families.

Wilson & Young Middle School raised over $8,000 with GAO this year. Band Directors Whitney Rutledge, Tyler Owen and Channing Freeman love that their students had the opportunity to also earn Tuition Rewards Credits.
