2. KHS Academic Alliance

Educator, Performer, Parent, Retailer, Instrument Maker. We are more successful when we all work together, and each plays a vital role in our music-making community. The KHS America Academic Alliance is designed to build and strengthen these roles and relationships to better serve each other as we all strive to explore music as an essential part of our lives. Music is inspiring to those that make it, teach it, and hear it and we believe that it provides a positive contribution to society. Music has the power to connect and bring individuals together and the Academic Alliance specifically builds relationships between Top Performing Artists, Well Respected Educators, Renown Ensembles, A Network of Dedicated School Music Retailers, Top Instrument and Accessory Brands, Industry Professionals with Inside Knowledge of Music Education and Schools providing a music education experience to students of all abilities. By giving strength to these connections we can better foster both the creative process of music making and the quality of music learning within our community.  www.academicalliance.com

3. Clinic Program Grants

One of the most valuable resources we can provide is access to experienced music educators and performers. These woodwind, brass, percussion, and educational artists offer knowledge, experience, and ideas that can strengthen music programs and ensure that players have the best opportunity for success through personal appearances, real conversation and live performance. The KHS America Academic Alliance Clinic Program provides funding and support to schools to help supplement a portion of these artist’s fees for clinics, masterclasses and guest performances at your school. If interested in applying for a grant visit http://academicalliance.com/clinic-resources/

KHS America is a family of brands that includes Jupiter, Mapex, and Majestic. KHS America supports band directors is many ways, and becoming a business partner of BandDirectorsTalkShop.com is just one of them. We are grateful for their support! If you want to check out some of their best new products, have a look at MyCase and the Reflections Marimba!
